I began writing songs when I was a teenager but took a long hiatus. Why? Who knows. Maybe the path was unclear, and I was trying not to draw too much attention. Well, the path is a little clearer now.

Over the years I have written songs about migrant workers, hurricanes, shooting stars, bull fights, roadside attractions, betrayal, redemption, and of course, let’s not forget, true love and heartache.
